  • In comparison to typical DC brushed motors, where the magnets revolve but the windings remain stationary, a brushless motor has a more 'flipped' construction. To allow the motor to rotate, electronics are necessary to commutate or modify electrical flow within the windings. Brushless motors use sensors to monitor the rotor's angle, enabling for faster and more consistent phase changes and higher torque capacity.
  • A brushless motor's armature is stationary. Conversely, the magnets revolve around the armature, and the motor controller handles phase shift to keep the motor moving, resulting in more torque per watt, a higher torque-to-weight ratio, lower noise, and more dependability.

  • Brushless fuel pumps allow exact control of fuel pressure under tight tolerances with improved efficiency, down to fractions of a second in speed control, resulting in less current draw, less heat, and prolonged life.
  • Upgrade to a quality brushless pump for faster, more dependable, and uninterrupted fuel supply while consuming less power and reducing the risk of wear or failure.
